Rainbow Foods has joined many stores in charging 5 cents per plastic grocery bag, in order to encourage the use of environmentally friendly bags, baskets and bins. At Rainbow Foods funds collected this way are donated to local charities.  Read this article for a summary of local charities benefitting from this program.

Thank you customers for helping Rainbow Foods raise $300 each for the Ottawa Riverkeeper, the David Suzuki Foundation and the World Wildlife Fund. Rainbow is once again participating in the annual Vitamin Angels fundraising campaign again this November 14th to December 24th, which donates $1.00 from the sale of selected products.

With the advent of the colder weather, the rainbowfoods kitchen Cooks have brought back their heart-warming home-made soups. These soups are created daily in our own kitchen using the finest organic ingredients.
