Rainbow is committed to providing our customers with the information and advice they need to follow a healthy lifestyle. Our knowledgeable and friendly staff is available to help you find the products you need. In addition to product demos, Rainbow regularly hosts seminars by Nutritionists, Naturopaths & other experts in their field. Gluten-free Days, Customer Appreciation Days, Food Fairs and other special events are planned throughout the year. Information and recipe sheets are available on a wide range of topics such as cooking beans and grains, managing a gluten-free diet and celebrating the holidays with a vegetarian. Copies of The Natural Path newsletter and Alive Magazine are also available.
Rainbow supports locally-produced food and product and many of our suppliers are small companies like Rainbow. Our coffees are organic, fair-trade and roasted locally. Our various green initiatives include using alternative energy sources and we are powered by Bullfrog Power.
Our Customer Loyalty Program rewards regular shoppers with a $10 refund when a certain level of points is reached. It's free to join and we do all the work for you by tracking your purchases.
Rainbow runs different Charity initiatives throughout the year. For example, last summer we held a vegetarian barbeque and silent auction in support of Run for One Planet. In November/December, we supported the Vitamin Angels campaign to fight malnutrition and child blindness around the world. On Earth Day, 5% of all sales were donated to the David Suzuki Foundation, the Ottawa Riverkeeper and the World Wildlife Fund. Additionally, to encourage the use of re-usable grocery bags: we charge 5 cents for each plastic grocery bag and donate the proceeds to local and national charities. |

Return Policy
Items may be returned within 30 days with a valid receipt, unopened, in original packaging and able to be resold. Perishable items (dairy, bakery, take-out, produce, bulk and frozen foods) may be returned within 7 days with a valid receipt and only if substandard.
We stand behind the quality of our products. Returns are dealt with at management's discretion in co-operation with our suppliers.

Human Resources Manager
We are looking for a mature and professional individual to help us manage our staff of over 50 full and part-time employees. The successful candidate will have previous human resources experience, preferably in the retail field. Duties include hiring, training, scheduling, performance reviews and policy overview. This is a part-time permanent position for three or four days a week and will involve occasional evening or weekend work hours.

Esthetician for Bodycare Department
This position requires training in facials and makeup, along with an interest in natural and organic beauty products. The successful candidate will have previous experience in retail sales and should preferably be bilingual. Duties include ordering, display, sales and demos within our busy bodycare department. This is a permanent full-time position (5 days per week) and requires some evening and weekend shifts.
