Rainbow carries some of the more difficult to find appliances. We focus on the higher quality units and price them very competitively. When comparing prices from USA websites be sure to take into account shipping, the exchange rate, and possible brokerage fees. Our prices are in Canadian dollars and we ship anywhere in Canada for $15.00 to $25.00 depending on the weight. We offer a full refund within 30 days for any reason although we ask that you pay the return shipping.
Although we have very little demand for centrifugal or twin gear juicers, these types are still available to us at very competitive prices. We don’t see any appreciable benefit to twin gear machines over single auger, especially when the price factor is considered, but a centrifugal style machine might be sufficient if a person:
1. Doesn’t want to juice leafy vegetables or wheat grass.
2. Drinks the juice right away before oxidation has a chance to destroy the enzymes and vitamins. Juice made with the Omega or Samson may be kept for 48 hours in the fridge.
3. Wants the larger feed tube and faster speed of juicing that is inherent in the centrifugal style juicer.
4. Is not interested in the single auger machine’s ability to make baby food, pasta, nut butters (raw or roasted), grind coffee or flax seeds, or make soy milk.

 BlendTec Blender
Blendtec is the main competitor to Vitamix in the high end, heavy duty blender market. Although smaller and lighter than Vitamix they are slightly more powerful with 1500 watts and 3 peak horsepower. The Blendtec website shows remarkable videos of the power of the Blendtec, reducing all sorts of objects to dust including golf balls, marbles, I-phones and skis. Blendtec also are manufacturers of super powerful commercial blenders found in the likes of Booster Juice so they know something of the blender business.  Good4U Dehydrator
We have replaced Excalibur with the Good4U brand. Identical in operation to the Excalibur, the Good4U is more reasonably priced (made in China) and comes with a comprehensive 1 year warranty and 9 year warranty on the electrical system. Quieter and faster than Excalibur, it has received good reviews. Very attractive as well. Comes with 2 non-stick sheets plus the normal mesh ones. A timer is included.

Omega Juicer
 Omega juicers are known for a quality product at a good price along with a generous guarantee (10 years).  Samson Advanced Juicer
Samson juicers are very similar to Omega juicers in operation, although somewhat different in appearance. They are quiet, powerful machines, juicing everything. This latest model now has a much stronger auger and filter screen and comes with a 15 year total warranty. Besides appearance the only differences from Omega are cleaning time (about 55 seconds) as compared to the Omega’s 45 seconds, and slightly drier pulp. Colour choices are white, almond, black or chrome.

 Needak Rebounder
Needak rebounders set the standard for quality and reliability which is reflected in the price. The Needak unit is substatially sturdier than the cheaper off- shore brands sold by the larger stores.
